Short story:
Christian
drama film God’s Not Dead is an upcoming American movie. This movie based on
the book of the same name by Rice Broocks and the song "Like a Lion"
originally written by Daniel Bashta. The film is directed by Harold Crank. The
film will be released to theaters on March 21, 2014.
Josh Wheaton a
freshman college student, finds his faith challenged on his first day of
Philosophy class by the dogmatic Professor Radisson. Professor Radisson demands
that all of his students must sign a declaration that "God is dead"
in order to get a passing grade. Josh refuses and will go to any lengths to
defend his belief in God, but he needs to take this class to meet his academic
requirements. And so the professor strikes a bargain: Josh must defend his
position that "God is Alive" in a series of debates with him in order
to stay in the class. If he loses, he flunks. When Josh accepts the challenge,
he gets more than he bargained for—jeopardizing his faith, his relationships,
and even his future.
