Short Summary:
Oldboy is an upcoming 2013 American remake of the 2003
Park Chan-wook South Korean cult film, which is based on the Japanese manga
with the same name. The film is directed by Spike Lee and written by Mark
Protosevich. It stars Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen and Sharlto Copley.
Short story:
An advertising executive is suddenly kidnapped and held
hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released,
he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and
torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy
and torment.
